The Girl in The Green Scarf

In the soon to be three years that I’ve been blogging, never once has snow appeared in any of my backgrounds. So this would kind of be a big deal if it weren’t for the fact that I feel mostly indifference (sometimes hate) towards this “adverse weather condition.”

These pictures were taken not this Monday just gone but the one before – what a difference 10 days can make in London! Back then (because it feels like another lifetime, really) the snow was in full swing and a big fat nuisance for us cranky Londoners…

Scarf, Accessorize. Coat, Dorothy Perkins (seen here). Dress, NW3 (seen here). Bag, Zara (seen here).

Having said that, I cannot deny its picturesque qualities, considering it contrasted so prettily with one of my best sale finds – this bright green thing from Accessorize. I couldn’t resist its amazing colour, and yes, I can’t help but feel just a little bit like Rebecca Bloomwood in Confessions of a Shopaholic. OK, so her scarf was silk and a completely different shade of green, but this turquoise wonder will do just fine for now.
