Doggy Print (part 2)

Top and belt, Primark. Cardigan, Lauren by Ralph Lauren. Skirt, Urban Outfitters. Ring, Kurt Geiger. Pendant, present.

No, my Zara shirt is not the only doggy print in my wardrobe, in fact, I spotted this cute top at Primark just before getting the shirt. I may not be a dalmatian fan but I absolutely love this top for some reason – my guess is the silk-effect fabric, the caramel shade and the sheer delightfulness of it are what grab me.

The really strange thing about this top was the fit. I bought a size 10 without trying it on (I cannot handle those nightmarish queues at Primark) and when I tried it on at home it was super tight – more criiinge tight than sexy tight. I’m guessing that might just be the style of the top (or maybe those muffins and cupcakes are catching up with me), but personally I think it makes sense for a silk-effect, casual top not to be fitted. So I went back and exchanged it for a size 14 – and boy, does the loser fit work so much more for me.

This belt has become one of those items that I want to wear with everything, all the time.

Naturally, no other pendant would do… will I – or should I say, my wardrobe – ever grow up?

This top is so cute, and I don't even like dogs! I love clothes that are fun and quirky and unexpected. Which is why I say never grow up 🙂
