The title of this post is probably pointless, since my red dress is barely seen. But when I visited my friend’s flat for the first time a few weeks ago, I was instantly driven towards the light beaming through the window, which looked so desperately romantic. I couldn’t have found a prettier background for this dress (French Connection) and my chiffon-like bolero (Primark). And, after having seen the V&A’s exhibition The Cult of Beauty, more than ever I understand the concept “Art for Art’s Sake.” That’s what these pictures are all about. Normally I like to include pictures in which the clothes can be seen in detail, but this time I thought I’d try something a little different, I hate to say this but yes, artistic and picturesque is what I was aiming for. I wanted to create a mood – or to be more precise, recapture the mood that I felt whilst taking these pictures. Evocative, sensual, delicate perhaps?
I actually fell for the flat itself – in every corner there were details that I found inspiring. So guys, that’s all from me: I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.
Definitely stylish and dark 🙂 love the conceptual pics!

I love how you paired the chiffon animal print with the bold colored dress. It is so stylish! I also like the shadow/outline shots—so pretty & feminine. And I like your motivation & inspiration even more. I'd say artistic goal achieved! Lovely post.
