Chapter 20: One night in Camden

Please ignore any romantic connotations that the title of this post might have, as I’m simply referring to the place and time of when these pics were taken (and it wasn’t actually any later than 6 or 7, but hey, that’s time change for you)! It’s not the first time Camden has shown up on my blog, and it probably won’t be the last. Despite the annoying crowds and sometimes overwhelming selection of things, I still think it’s a great place to get style inspiration – and you never know what you’re going to find. But let’s get to the important stuff – I bought this jacket a few weeks ago in a cute vintage shop off Brick Lane, and I can say with all certainty that there is nothing quite like this in my wardrobe. Firstly, because I never, ever go for camel and brown tones, but for some reason I really liked this jacket’s colour. And secondly, the fact that it’s vintage is a novelty for me, since I’m not a fan of vintage clothes shopping, even if I’m always in awe of other people’s vintage finds.

Love the fact that the jacket either has an eighties feel or is basically from that decade – I declare myself an unashamed fan of the Eighties and miss that trend terribly (and here starts my petition to bring the Eighties back asap)…

In case anyone had any doubts, I was completely serious about loving the Eighties, and these OTT earrings are proof of that… they’re quite heavy but I love them! Can I get away with saying that they’re just so Dynasty…?

I got this bag from Zara not too long ago and I’m quite obsessed with it at the moment, since it just feels like one of those bags that can be matched with practically any outfit…

All worn with a polka dot mini skirt from Miss Selfridge and my favourite red shoes from M&S.
