Chapter 4: The Sonia Rykiel for H&M madness

Had a busy week – work, social and shopping wise. Am consumed with guilt yet ecstatic about my new buys from H&M yesterday. Sonia Rykiel is a designer whose label I wish to spend half of my wages on in the future, so this is definitely the designer & high street collaboration that I have been looking forward to the most. The first thing that popped into my head when I woke up yesterday morning was ‘Sonia’ – sad but true. Like a desperate 15 year old fan, I was in H&M by 12pm. It was busy, but everything was still there (I’m guessing there was no crazy queuing up). I was pleasantly surprised by the nice fit that most of the items seemed to have, and went a bit crazy…

This jumper was the main thing I had my eye on…

One can never have too many knitted jumpers when dealing with cold London weather…

Love the pockets on this skirt…

These are leggings – I love the woolliness and the small ruffle detail…

This scarf is probably going to be everywhere but I don’t care…

And finally, how cute is this badge?

This was probably the most seen (and must see) bag along Oxford Street yesterday… it will be interesting (and slightly cringe-worthy) to see how many of us will see others with the same jumper/scarf/skirt, but that’s high street for you. Happy London Fashion Week to all.

I really enjoyed your post. You got some AMAZING pieces. I stayed in bed on Saturday as I was too lazy to get up! After seeing pictures on blogs I decided I had to check out the collection on monday.

I bought the scarf, stud beret, stripe body con dress and I asked my sister to pick me up a black skirt and socks as she was shopping.

Im really excited about the black skirt because its such a versatile piece to have in your wardrobe to wear with jumpers.

A sonia rykiel jumper which is soo similar costs £175.00!

    Thank you for your comment!
Omg I didn't realise there was a skirt from her actual line that was so similar! I feel even happier now about my buys! 🙂

I love what you bought, especially the black and hot pink sweater with the black bow. You've got great taste!
